Seminar on "Interest and good practices of mixed plantations" (COMFOR Project)

22 / 03 / 2023

Next Wednesday, March 29th, we will organize together with the IEFC a seminar on the "Interest and good practices of mixed plantations", included in the COMFOR Interreg Sudoe project, with the collaboration of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia.

The COMFOR Sudoe project was launched to promote synergies and strengthen a network that transnationally links research and innovation in specific sectors of Southwest Europe (Sudoe). Its objective is focused on the enhancement of complex forests (mixed and irregular) and the planting of varied species as an adaptation strategy that, thanks to the achievement of resilient forest stands, responds to climate change and the decrease of biodiversity.

Date: Wednesday, March 29th.
Time: 9.00 h.
Place: Baserri Antzokia, Taileri Kalea, 6 (Derio, 48160).
